Creating a #PeriodFriendlyWorld for Girls
As we celebrate #MenstrualHygieneDay, it’s time to build a #PeriodFriendlyWorld where girls can easily access affordable menstrual products to reach their fullest potential.
On average, a girl misses 3-6 days of school due to period poverty. Girls have a right to live free from the stigma and taboos surrounding menstruation and to have access to menstrual products.
We hope our reusable kit donation program at Wathituga Secondary School, in partnership with Binti Mwangaza, will reach more girls.
