Kicheche feels the wilderness should instil wonder in every generation. Our children’s activities inspire curiosity and a love for nature through exciting adventures, creative exploration, and hands-on learning guided by our experienced team. Please note that the minimum age at Kicheche Valley Naboisho and Kicheche Bush Olare is 7 years.
A Safari Just for Them (ages 6–14 | supervised by our child-friendly guides)
At Kicheche Mara North
Become a Maasai artisan – Craft vibrant bracelets and necklaces alongside Maasai women, learning stories woven into every bead.
Track like a pro – Exploratory walks to decode animal footprints, identify bones, and uncover the secrets of savannah plants.
Master bush skills – Light a fire without matches, fire arrows from Masai bows, and test your spear and rungu-throwing skills (Mara Camp only)
At Kicheche Laikipia
Young explorers can enjoy guided camp walks, soft archery, and a unique Ol Pejeta anti-poaching dog experience (12+ yrs) with an exciting hide-and-seek demonstration. Visits to the Morani Information Center add an educational touch to their safari.

While our intimate camp setup encourages shared safari moments, we know how special it is for families to also enjoy quality time in private. At Kicheche, we offer dedicated family accommodations that provide the perfect balance—space to bond, relax, and make memories together, while still feeling immersed in the wild.
Family Suites
Available at all Kicheche camps, our spacious family suite is tailored for comfort and connection. It features two separate en-suite bedrooms joined by a cosy lounge—ideal for unwinding or enjoying private meals. The suite accommodates up to five guests and includes exclusive use of a safari vehicle for flexible game viewing.
Quad Tents
Perfect for families with young children, our Quad Tents comfortably sleep up to four guests (available at all camps excluding Kicheche Bush Olare). These tents include a shared bathroom and offer an easy, flexible option for close-knit family stays.
