Kicheche Conservancy Safari

You’ll be met on arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport or your Nairobi hotel and transferred to Wilson Airport for your morning flight to Nanyuki airstrip.

On landing, your Kicheche guide will greet you and drive you to Kicheche Laikipia, located in the heart of Ol Pejeta Conservancy (approx. 1-hour drive).

After a warm welcome and lunch at camp, take time to settle in before afternoon tea. Then head out for your first game drive, exploring the open plains of this fertile conservancy. As the sun sets, return to camp for a drink around the fire or in the cosy lounge, followed by a hosted starlight dinner.

Wake up to the aroma of fresh coffee or hot chocolate delivered to your tent, then set off on an extended early morning game drive.

Enjoy a picnic breakfast out on the plains, surrounded by the sights and sounds of the wilderness.

Return to camp for a relaxed al-fresco lunch, with time to unwind and watch wildlife gathering at the nearby waterhole. Later, head out for your afternoon game drive, continuing into the golden light of dusk.

For the adventurous, night drives are available — offering the chance to spot elusive nocturnal species by filtered spotlight under the African stars.

Guided bush walks (2–3 hours) offer a slower perspective of the conservancy and can be tailored to your comfort.

Savour a bush breakfast before returning to camp to relax. In the afternoon, head out for another game drive, or explore Ol Pejeta’s ranching programme and visit the Morani Wildlife Centre.

Wrap up your day with sundowners by the campfire or in the cosy lounge before enjoying dinner under canvas.

After a relaxed al fresco breakfast, transfer to the airstrip for your morning flight to the Masai Mara.

Enjoy lunch and some downtime before heading out for an afternoon game drive, followed by sundowners on the plains. Return to camp for a warm shower and drinks around the campfire, rounding off your first magical Mara conservancy evening.

Start your morning with tea or coffee delivered to your tent, followed by a hearty breakfast at camp.

Then set off on a full-day game drive, exploring the reserve or neighbouring conservancies. The varied landscapes offer rich sightings of wildlife and birdlife throughout the day.

Pause for a picnic lunch at a scenic viewpoint, then continue your adventure before returning to camp in the late afternoon. Unwind by the campfire with a sundowner before sitting down to a delicious starlit dinner.

Begin the day with a guided bush walk, approximately two hours, offering a fresh perspective on the landscape and wildlife as you explore the plains on foot with your expert guide.

In the afternoon, you may choose to visit a traditional Maasai manyatta for an enriching cultural experience or set off on a final evening game drive to round out your safari adventure.

Enjoy a final early morning game drive, soaking in the sights and sounds of the savannah one last time.

After breakfast, you’ll be transferred to the airstrip for your flight back to Nairobi.

On arrival at Wilson Airport, our team will meet you and transfer you to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward journey, or to your Nairobi hotel if you’re staying longer.
