Where Wildlife and Community Thrive
Naboisho, meaning “coming together” in Maa, is a pioneering 50,000 acres conservancy in the Greater Mara Region, dedicated to wildlife conservation and community prosperity. Home to the world’s highest lion densities—around 100 lions, including the continent’s largest pride—Naboisho also has superb leopards, herds of elephants, giraffes, wildebeest, and zebra.
This vital corridor connects the Maasai Mara National Reserve to the Loita Plains, safeguarding ancient migration routes and sustaining a rich, balanced ecosystem. Managed in partnership with approximately 500 local landowners, Naboisho stands as a remarkable model of community-led conservation and authentic safari wilderness.
