‘Busy morning with mating leopards’ were Bernard’s and Mika’s casual drawls on their seismic morning drive.
No animal raises the pulse more than a leopard, but this was a far harder spotted currency. Figlet is one of our own and she was with the monstrous Mkubwa – almost twice her size – turning a forested area in Naboisho into a Balanites boudoir for hours.

Raising cubs for Figlet – her first brood, will not be easy in an area more crammed with lions than almost anywhere else in Africa. Her mother often struggled, but rest assured, as all Spotters do their gestation homework, we will keep you informed of any progress but you are cordially invited to check availability for early next year. Top work Mika and the whole Valley team.
He filmed this gorgeous segment in the open, close-cropped rolling plains ten minutes from camp.

Cubs, leopard cubs …. soon …. I’ll leave it there.
