
It may be at the beginning of the dictionary but it is rarely at the beginning of any safari, in fact it is rarely seen at all. So let’s just consider this sighting, not one aardwolf but two, in daytime. Mating.
In the ever-evolving lexicon of great sightings this is right up there, many congratulations Jimmy T, I don’t know anyone who has seen this before. Mara North Conservancy has uncorked an early season vintage.
You’d be aard pushed to see something more unusual, so Jimmy, once you’ve taken a breath, kindly find the same scenario with their similarly named nocturnal cousins … that really would be aardvark.
