‘Nature red in tooth and claw’ …… ‘circle of life’ ….. ‘this is nature’ ….. these are some of the many tired and frequently patronising remarks peddled during any hunting sequence, which always ignore the harrowing nature of the incident. In this case a caracal attacked twice by Figlet, a young leopard keen to remove a competitor from the food chain. Spotted by Patrick Koriata with repeat guest Thomas Weder, on their own!
We had a blast here and for us it is normal that we support you guys in these strange times where everybody seems to be going nuts ….. Thomas Weder
And this just tumbled into my inbox:
We were just there, had a fabulous time and everyone followed the Covid 19 playbook!’ Do NOT let fear keep you way from this. We are senior citizens! We were in Kenya for three weeks, came home for a week and other than having thousands of photos to go through, we are FINE! Minnie and her staff and our great guide James, made our stay PERFECT’
Darlene Knott.
Oh and lastly, … KENYA AIRWAYS …take a bow, this promo is utterly brilliant. Often these airline productions are schmaltzy, cheesy and smug (or all three), this is not, KICHECHE LOVES IT …..oh my, when that violin comes in at 17 seconds….. chillls! Kudos KQ, this is great …. and important …. well done, in adversity.
