Lucky Tucker’s ….. not a bit of it. Keith, Laura, daughter Bryony and son-in-law Alex, take a bow, or indeed a curtesy (not remotely sorry if that is not woke enough for some or un PC). Next time I go on safari I want to be with this family and of course the legendary Laikipian guide Peter Kariuki and Naboisho’s magnificent maestro Mika Kaleku.

The Tucker’s had a competition for best picture – not competitive at all then? – and for me, the rhino mother and calf take it by a horn. Whilst it is always both incomplete and indeed facile to gauge a safari just by images, this a spectacular inventory, more valuable than a tube of hand gel, illustrating these two premier conservancies at their coruscating best.

Outstanding on every level and seemingly everything in two’s, just as Noah intended ….. that is everything except leopards. This compels you all to return …. Obvs …… with Mika again, as your chief compair!
