When you get a welcoming from two black-maned ones within seconds of landing, you kind of know this is your home. Nancie Wight has known this for a while since her Kicheche baptism five years ago. Once she was ‘prided out’, she then proceeded with her group to encounter and enjoy pretty much every predator across all three Mara Camps.
These images are not only first class in quality they also show a patient quest from someone who has had the most valuable commodity of all … time. However as she says ‘even twelve nights across all three properties is not enough.’

Nancie, this is your home, but, as you know, they are not our animals and their elusiveness and mysticism are all part of their enigma. We cannot guarantee such a welcome next time but confidently feel there will be one. Thanks Nancie… top work.
