Nalangu, Leopard Queen of Kicheche Mara Camp
Mara North Conservancy
The Kicheche inbox is filled with many sorts of pictorial correspondence, some of it precious, much of it delightful yet whimsical flotsam. Many are wanting to augment their faunal CV with a Spot of the Week appearance, few are as persuasive or as well-mannered as the magnificently named Ola Maddams.

Her safari at Mara and Valley Camp was nothing short of Biblical, a sumptuous lexicon of remarkable sightings which the obliging Ola has recorded magnificently. She then humbly asked whether her images could be considered for ‘Spot’ ….. what immaculate manners.

Praise must also go to her guides: George Nampaso at Mara and Bernard Soit at Valley Camp who drive like placid and peaceful princes across their marvellous conservancies; not like Prince Philip.
Thanks Ola.
