Sometimes people just don’t deserve it. Paul Hancock rolls into camp, a Kicheche virgin, with just one callow afternoon game drive under his not inconsiderable belt.
After a morning of three leopards he and his mercurial guide Nelson encounter the fabled Malaika. Within minutes, after being positioned perfectly by our seasoned alchemist, the spotted quarry explodes out of the croton bushes and closes in on her unsuspecting prey in a blinding cloud of dust.
Normally this seminal sight neuters the photographer’s finger, not the dilletante Paul. Top, TOP work …….. grudgingly. Top work Malaika too.
